SIM cards on sale
SIM cards are available for purchase aboard the Sanyo Shinkansen (some trains excluded between Shin-Osaka and Hakata) and at certain stores inside the station (7-Eleven Heart・in).

Travel insurance for visitors
If an insured falls ill or is injured while travelling as a tourist in Japan, then this insurance compensates the insured for the following:
(1) Cost of medical treatment
(2) Cost of necessary services such as arranging for a medical institution, interpretating on his behalf in either English, Chinese, and Korean during medical consultation/treatment
(3) Cost of cashless treatment
Provided that he receives such treatment and services in Japan.
